THIS WEEK WAS ALL ABOUT SPORTS DAZE!!!

Sports Daze at ACA is a bi-annual event which begins several weeks prior to the final games. Students from 1st-12th grade are taken through a rigorous training, in which they are given the opportunity to race against their age-mates to determine the competitors who will participate in each track & field event. Some field events, such as Shot Put and the Discus Throw were conducted prior to March 1st for the safety of students and spectators.

This year, we introduced fun and exciting games to challenge our students and to inspire essential life-skills and characteristics such as physical dexterity, coordination, and teamwork: the “Beach Ball Hop,” “the “Big Foot Stomp,” and an obstacle course.

Farewell to Mr. Francis!

Did you know that Mr. Francis is a highly skilled fashion designer?! After more than 10 years of faithful service to ACA, God has called Francis to exercise his gift for sewing in a full-time capacity. We here at ACA will miss that unmistakable voice shouting “Good morning!” as we arrive at school every day. But we believe God is going with you and is taking you to even greater heights, dear friend! God bless you and your family as you move into this next phase of life!
