The American Christian Academy continues to provide qualitative schooling options for expatriates and Nigerian parents who seek an international education for their children in Ibadan. Actively partnering with parents in the education of their children, ACA realizes the importance of keeping communication lines open to work together to raise a God-fearing generation.
Twice a year, Parent-Teacher Conferences are held after the 1st and 3rd quarters (the specific dates are available on the Annual Calendar) in all schools. The purpose of this communication is for parents and teachers to discuss student progress both academically and behaviorally.
Parent Partnership are encouraged at ACA to represent and share the views of community and to establish open, inclusive practices that invite participation. Different methods have been adopted in involving parents at school such as: Parent volunteers for story telling in their child’s class, Career talks by parents during assemblies, Multiplication workshops have been organized for parents, assisting senior school students to lay hands on practical projects (internship) in their companies and many more.
ACA strives to keep open lines of communication with students and parents. A healthy relationship between students, parents, and the school is beneficial to the entire ACA community. Click the button to read more about our various methods employed for this endeavor.
Extra-Curricular activities are major part of school life at ACA such as 24 Hour Sports Marathon, Sports Daze, After School Clubs, Field trips and Excursions, Marketing Projects, Career Smart Fairs, etc.
